Proudly Belizean Photo Contest

Contest Overview:

Capture and share your experiences during this year’s September celebration by posting photos of yourself participating in the various activities listed below and get a chance to win amazing prizes!

Contest Duration:

The contest will run from September 1, 2023 to September 26, 2023. All entries must be posted within this period to be eligible.

How to Participate:

• Follow Belizean Traveller on Facebook or Instagram.
• Post photos of yourself doing all of the following activities (one photo per activity).
  1.  Decorating your home in patriotic colors
  2. Attending any September celebration event (eg. Carnival, Independence Day parade, PanYaad)
  3. Proudly showing off the Belize flag.
  4. Showing off your favorite Belizean-made product
  5. Showing you and your friends or family dressed in patriotic colors
• Post your photos on your social media accounts (Facebook or Instagram) using the contest hashtags #ProudlyBelizean #BelizeanTraveller and tagging @BelizeanTraveller(Facebook or Instagram).
• Ensure your posts are set to “Public” so that we can see your entries.

Contest Rules:

• Participants must be legal residents of Belize, 18 years and older.
• Inappropriate, offensive, or irrelevant content will be disqualified.
• By entering the contest, participants grant permission for the provided photos to be used by the BTB for future promotional purposes.
• BTB Staff and their immediate family are not eligible to participate in the contest.

Winner Selection and Announcement:

• Winners will be determined based on the number of photos, creativity, relevance to each activity, originality, and visual impact.
• Winners will be announced on September 29, 2023, through our official social media accounts. The winner will also be contacted directly via their social media account used for the contest.

Prizes:

• First Prize: Blue Hole Flyover from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye for four persons courtesy Tropic Air and $1000 Cash courtesy BTB
• Second Prize: Samsung Galaxy A13 courtesy SMART Belize Ltd.
• Third Prize:  Adventure Combo Package (Zip lining and Cave tubing) for two persons courtesy BTB

*All winners also receive Belizean Traveller Merchandise.
