Belize Welcomes Inaugural Air Canada Montreal Flight with Same-Day European Connections

Belize City, Belize – December 9, 2025: The Belize Tourism Board is delighted to announce the arrival of the inaugural Air Canada flight from Montreal, Canada, on December 8th. This milestone marks the first direct air service linking Montreal, Quebec, and Belize.

Same-day European connections will now be available to and from 23 European cities, including:

London (LHR), Paris (CDG), Amsterdam (AMS), Frankfurt (FRA), Munich (MUC), Zurich (ZRH), Geneva (GVA), Marseille (MRS), Madrid (MAD), Rome (FCO), Lisbon (LIS), Athens (ATH), Barcelona (BCN), Brussels (BRU), Copenhagen (CPH), Dublin (DUB), Edinburgh (EDI), Lyon (LYS), Manchester (MAN), Milan (MXP), Nice (NCE), Toulouse (TLS), and Vienna (VIE).

This new service complements Air Canada’s existing same-day connection out of Toronto. Additionally, Air Canada has upgraded its Toronto-Belize aircraft from an A319 to an A320 to meet increased demand— adding approximately 30 seats per flight.

With this expansion, Belize proudly welcomes travelers from across Canada and Europe to discover its diverse cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and dynamic experiences. Visitors can explore world-class snorkeling along the Belize Barrier Reef, wander through ancient Maya sites, trek lush jungles, or unwind on the country’s serene beaches, offering something unforgettable for every type of traveler.
